Dav... Danetre... Daventry

Whatever you call it, whatever your thoughts on Daventry, it is a town with an ever growing population that will probably be beyond the belief of those who have lived here for donkey's years.

Some of us fondly remember the days of The Golden Padlock, Newman's, The Co-op, Kath's in Brook Street, but these places are long gone. Daventry has to move forward and provide facilities for living in the 21st Century!

Do you think that Daventry can cope with thousands of additional residents? Will the car parks handle the hundreds, even thousands of extra cars as people do their shopping? Will the shops, present or proposed cope with the demands of possibly twice the number of residents we have now?

What about health resources? Doctors? Dentists? Have we the means to meet the needs of so many more residents?

Are there enough entertainment facilities for young and old in the town? There is so much to talk about, so voice your opinion in the forum and see how many others share your views.
